3rd Annual Celebration of Service

Honoring Our Veterans & Community

This flyer provides details for the upcoming Celebration of Service event in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We are Looking for Veteran entrepreneurs and their family members for creative arts & crafts to have free booth space! Contact jsteward@cc-entertainment.org to register.

Event Highlights

• Veteran Resources: Specialized support services and information for veterans.
• Creative Arts & Music: Live musical performances and artistic displays.

Date & Time

• Dates: November 6th & 7th, 2026
• Celebration of Service: 3:00pm – 7:00pm Friday | 11:00pm – 3:00pm Saturday
• Transportation: Hero’s Corner providing Transportation for those veterans who are limited.

Activities:

• Veteran giveaway drawing of 24′ Sunset Trail camper with full accessories
  • 1 Ticket per veteran per day, chance to have 2 ticket entries for Saturday Nov 7th drawing
  • Drawing will be Saturday at 2pm at the event, must be present to win to receive the title in-person
• Veteran winter care kits to veterans with ID
• Veteran hot meal to the first 50 checked in veterans both Friday and Saturday
• Veteran services onsite – VA, Kent County Veterans services, Secretary of State (IDs)
• Veteran Creative Arts & Crafts Fair
• Veteran entrepreneur booths
• STEM Activities
  • Friday November 6th 3pm to 7pm – Interactive STEM building booths, Local HS Robotics demos, Flight Simulator, Aerospace Engineering Demos
  • Saturday November 7th 11am to 3pm – HS Robotics demos, Flight Simulator, Aerospace Engineering Demos
• Food trucks and Live music both days

• Handicap parking and VIP parking will be available.
• VIP Parking: A $10 donation is requested to support the Creative Community Empowerment Veteran Initiative.
